Summer Reading Assignments (2021)

We assign summer reading to keep you engaged with learning through the summer. Studies have shown that when students don't read in the summer they lose ground. Also, when you complete reading prior to the start of school, we can jump right into discussion and comprehension activities.

 

In addition to the assigned tasks, we highly recommend that you set a personal goal to read as many books as you can. Reading improves your vocabulary and comprehension, gives you new experiences and knowledge, and offers a calming experience.
